Farewell to Valerie

Yesterday was Val's departure nite to Adelaide for a study xchange. From the way she dressed and with her 7kg bagpack, she looked as if she's gg on the amazing race. Had a short chat @ BK b4 she went in @ ard 11pm. 1st time travelling alone makes her feel scared (if i were her, i wld also feel uneasy). All of us (including her parents and siblings) gave her a hug b4 she went in. Hmm... Will miz her even though she'll only be away for 6 mths. Hope that she enjoys herself over there and leave a memorable experience. Cya on the 27th Dec, gal!

The rest of the gp went hm after tat while me & my lao gong took the skytrain to T1 for Popeye Chicken. I grew to like their buttermilk biscuits but seems to me that it tastes more like scones/bread. After supper programme was a movie @ TM. We watched Transformers and it was indeed a gd one. Cld remember that i used to watch its cartoons on tv when i was young. The magnificent robots were indeed heros. I like all of them esp the yellow one named 'bumble bee'. Nice & cute name rt!

Hmm... Awaiting for the day Harry Potter starts showing on the screens cos from the previews, it looks exciting!

Farewell Dinner for Valerie

My 1st post in here since Val say that she was so frustrated when she cld nt left comments @ my friendster blog. hehe. So here i m to try out... So far so gd no errors like the previous time i tried. But...TOUCHWOOD!!!

Few days nv update my blog le. Hmm... So gonna start from events on 25 Jun, Mon. Met up with Val, Lynn, Han, Wei & Teresa for a farewell dinner for Val. She's leaving for Adelaide tml for her 6 mths xchange. Aw, gonna miz her crappy nonsense and her constant burping.. opps.. Hehe.. And her gd cooking skills where all of us cld have a wonderful, tasty meal at times when we meet for gathering. Had a great dinner @ The Rice Table where all of us ate till we wanna vomit. But anyway, eating is our fav pastime and the 6 of us really ate a lot. As we chit chat over dinner, we were reminded that there was once drg a lec break where Val & Han were so hungry that they finished their 'za chai fan' in just 15 mins. Li hai rt? Can't 'xiao kan' us horz..

That nite was a wonderful gathering since we seldom meet up after graduating from poly. All of us r busy w wk/study. The nxt time when there's full attendance will be on my wedding day cos Val is coming back on that day. Hopefully ah.. cos she say she might purposely 'consider' coming back on the 28th :p

Hmm... Val, all the best to u while u're there. Gonna miz u... *sob sob* Tink she mus be v excited since she'll be staying nxt door to her bf, Patrick who's also there studying. Take carez, gal. Tml nite also gonna send her off @ the airport. Hopefully she doesn't cry ah :p or else all of us will start dropping tears too...
