20 Jun 2009 ~ My 3rd Yr ROM Anniversary
We went out for lunch at Central’s Waraku. Satisfying & v filing meal.
Then we went to eat fried mars with ice cream and then Ya-Kun which he always crave for. And it was 1-for-1!!! We had over-eaten sia =p
After all the eating, we went to Suntec wanting to go on the Duck Tour as i gt 2 free tixs. Too bad, the tour ended early cos it was NDP rehearsal day and hence, we missed the last tour.
Walked ard and went for dear’s Passion Run appreciation dinner @ NUS Grad Guild Hse. It was a sit down buffet dinner. Nothing much initially as there were speeches gg on & award presentations. My dear was in the committee for the run so he also gotten his award :)
BUT… I’d the greatest surprise for the nxt program. Dear was no where to be seen at that time & i thought he went to handle some stuffs. The emcee was saying abt every successful man, there’ll be a supportive woman (something like tat…). Then, she announced that today is Mr & Mrs Robin Goh’s 3rd Yr Wedding Anniversary! Oh that gave me a shock as i saw my dear coming in thro the door with a bouquet of flowers and on the screen was a mini montage of our photos. It looks like our WEDDING sia! I was really embarrassed as all eyes were on us as he began to read out his speech (i tok he was gg to sing =p). I was really touched and almost wanted to cry! We even had ‘jiao pei jiu’ but using sparkling grape juice. hehe. That was really a nice one. Thks to dear & his friends for coordinating.
The vows which he said:
“Be your husband and taking care of you forever in sickness and in health, in gd times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow. I promise to love you unconditionally to support you in your goals, to honour and respect you, to laugh with you and cry with you, and to cherish you for as long as we both shall live.” (Makes u want to cry rt??)
