My 1st time driving a Volvo XC 90 from home to Alexandra Rd last night. Cool & nice experience!

Met up with Teresa & Han ydy.
Supposed to meet for dim sum buffet @ Dragon Gate Restaurant for lunch but Han woke up late. So Teresa & I went to eat on our own. Spread of dim sum was nt too bad. Price reasonable; per pax $23. We ate qte a lot & Teresa even ate 6 siew mais! keke.
After lunch was roaming ard @ Vivocity while we waited for Han. Past by 37 degrees where they were having a sale. Me gt a pink tube dress @ $8 while Teresa gt herself a beach shorts @ $10. Gd bargain!
After Han reached, we went Starbucks for drink & tok-kok. So relaxing on a Sat afternn.
Then we took a cab to Macritchie Reservoir to drive the car cos my lao gong was there. Realized that its the 1st time i walked on the zig zag bridge even though last time i always go there for jogs while Han's last time there was drg her sec sch's cross country. So ' sua ku' sia =p
Gotten the car and we went to J8 for dinner at Cafe Cartel. Han ordered the pork ribs while Teresa & I shared the pork chops. It was such a big portion and we were stuffed with meat.
After dinner we shop ard J8 for a while and went back hm. Super tired but nice outing :)

Changed our display deco in our study rm.
My lao gong moved the cabinet over from the other rm to our study rm while i arranged all the soft toys. Think i'm qte talented; can be those display designers =p
There're Winnie the pooh & piglet theme, hard rock bears theme, police theme, DHL theme, wedding bears theme. N all my lao gong's police + fireman theme Lego (arranged at the top of the shelf).
Last wk was boss's week.
My colleague, Lilia thought of an idea to celebrate for our bosses as we had already planned to get the Osim Massage Pens for our bosses and the mgrs but haven't thought of how to present them.
We 'conspired' with our GM to hold a mtg last Fri morning. He asked his secretary to send an email to both our bosses asking for a 'Let's Chat' session with everyone in the Sales dept. Lilia and I then proceeded to send an invite to all :p
On Fri morning, we reached office @ 8am as we'd arranged for bfast buffet & cake delivery. My boss asked me why was i in the office so early and so did Lilia's boss (they were in the office earlier than us as they had planned to meet for bfast @ our canteen) :) Luckily we had already 'rehearsed' beforehand that if our bosses were to ask, we wld tell them that my lao gong need to reach office early and hence, he had to drop us off earlier.
'Mtg' started @ 8.30am. The bfast was setup on the table but we told everyone that it does not belong to us; it's for the nxt mtg. As the mtg was supposed to be a 'Let's Chat' session with the GM, both of our bosses did not turn up on time as they perceived that with them ard, their staff wld not want to ask qns.
Q&A lasted for 20 mins and finally, both of our bosses showed up. My boss even quietly asked Lilia if it was boss's day but she lied to her saying no. I then pretended to go to the toilet but actually i was gg to bring out the cake and s/by outside the rm while Lilia gave her speech. As the door opened, i brought out the cake to where the mgrs and bosses were standing at. They were all v surprised and keep on wanting to look at the pictures on the cakes.
Nice cake from ecreative. I'm really impressed by the quality of the photos on the cake.
After the cake-cutting, each of the team reps presented the Osim pen to their mgrs. Guess they were all v happy.

Attended Hui2 & Steven's ROM today.
Steven looked so nervous b4 the signing.
Everyone went in at ard 2.30pm and the whole process took less than 15 mins. Afterwhich was photo-taking by our 'prof' & demanding photograph, Han =p
Then we proceeded to Hi-Tea @ Royal Plaza on Scotts. Nice food over there with great company.
Shall update the photos soon once Han uploads them.

Had a great Gals' Nite Out last Fri with Val, Hui2 & Teresa. A gathering before Hui2's ROM this coming Wed (too bad Han & Ling can't join us). Congratz to Hui2 & Steven in advance! :)
Supposed to have dinner @ Timbre (Old Sch). Miz the pizza & buffalo wings. We even climbed up the 'more than 100 steps' flight of staircase (which i kept on reminding the gals =p) but the queue was so so long. So, we decided to go to Aston's Grill. By then, i got jelly legs..
Reached Aston's finally but the queue was also super long. In the end, we settled on a western cum chinese restaurant where the food was not gd!!! Teresa even made a feedbk to the waiter!
Anyway aftr dinner, we went to Caramel for drinks. Me had a nice mushroom soup. N we chatted till 11 plus. Lots of 'ren sheng dao li' that nite. :)
