23 Aug 09 ~ Dinner @ Home

Had leftover "chu mee fen" from the Sales Day buffet dinner. Hence, my lao gong suggested buying the laksa paste & ingredients to cook.

This brand is gd!!!

The ingredients - Egg (we even bought the cutter from Daiso =p), Bean Sprouts, Prawns, Fish Cake, "Chu Mee Fen", Tau Pok

Ta-Da!!! The finished product. :) We invited our neighbors & my colleague, Lilia to eat!!!

22 Aug 09 ~ Sat

Woke up @ 10am, had bfast, watch tv and then went bk to slp @ 1pm. Reali like a piggy. hehe

Woke up @ 3pm and off we went to Raffles Place Park for the ST lucky draw (to win a Volkswagen). We had to cut out 7 keys from the ST for 7 consecutive days. Stick onto the form and bring it to the announced venue to drop it off.

But too bad. we were not the winner :(

Then met the gals @ Suntec for dinner @ Kenny Rogers.

Yummy!!!

We then proceed to Ben & Jerry's @ Dempsey Rd. 1st visit. Nice!!!

21 Aug 09 ~ Sales Day

Information sharing sessions for the 1st half of the day.

And off we went to ECP @ noon for the teambldg!

Tok it'll be a bright, sunny day but just before we commenced @ 2pm, it started to rain heavily. Sort of spoilt the mood. The poor game station masters were at their respective stations, having to beat the rain. We were all conversing thro walkie-talkies and it was v funny. 1 station had their puzzles floating into the sea cos of the high tide. Then the other station was having a sunny day. V drama!!!

Luckily, the rain stopped aftr half an hr and we began to arrange for the bicycles etc.

Our theme for the teambldg was "Games on Wheels" meaning that everyone gt to find a partner within their team & travel on a double bike.

Then each team had to follow the clues to find the 4 game stations, complete the games and cycle to the finishing pt.

The 4 game stations were:

1. Fear Factor located @ Fitness Corner ~ Everyone had to walk 1 rd on the pebbles and eat 4 food items (Sour - lemon, Sweet - rose syrup, Bitter - bittergourd, Spicy - chilli padi)

2. Sandcastle Building located @ Food Centre ~ Building of sandcastle with the moulds given.

3. Solve the Puzzle located @ Sunset Bay ~ Ans qns and pick a puzzle piece to form the whole puzzle.

Can't complete and still show such hand sign =p

4. Fill the Bucket located @ National Sailing Centre ~ 1 blindfolded team member had to listen to his team's instructions to walk to the sea to collect water and walk back to fill the bucket.

The total distance was from Mac Donald to National Sailing Centre and all the way bk to Fort Rd; approx 12km. Luckily i'm the organizer =p

Lilia, Andy & I who were the organizers then travelled via car to the 4 stations. Just before we were abt to get into the car, we received a call from 1 of the station saying that someone was injured. Armed with the first aid box, we went down to attend to the injured :)

The whole teambldg lasted for 3 hrs and u could see that everyone was v shagged when they reach the finishing pt. Dinner was served at the finishing pt as we waited for the rest of the teams to come bk. We also had the prize presentation for the top 3 teams. By then it was 7 plus and everyone had to returned their bikes while the rest of us cleared up the place. My lao gong was also there to help :)
