Nice Sunday... Now sitting at Starbucks, East Coast enjoing a cuppa of coffee, reading magz...

My lao gong & i were intending to sit down at Old Town Coffee.. he doing his work while i relax.. but decided to change to Starbucks as i love the comfy cushion seats :)

Chanced upon the wkend car boot sale which i always wanna to visit. Within 15 mins, i bought 2 dresses @ $25. Nice wkend dresses... :)

So concidence i met my colleague, Andy @ Starbucks. And even concidence that his fren was my lao gong's fren too!!!

Hmm... Jus rec'd Val's sms on meeting up tml nite for dinner @ Tony Roma. Hmm, it's been a while i last met up with dreamx :)

What am i gg to have for dinner later? Pasta or soba???

Sunday... Day for shopping :)

Went sunshine plaza for the famous wanton mee. There was also a wholesale shop where i bought a A&W bag while my lao gong gt himself a Starbucks bag :)

We then went to Suntec for the IT show. Lots of pple sia. Finally gotten my Garmin GPS @ $269... Yeah! I can go anywhere that i want w/o asking for directions =p

Me also gotten the VCD - Piglet's BIG Movie. Omg, piglet is so cute :)

Went hm @ ard 6 plus while my lao gong went to wk. Me cooked porridge for dinner and stir fry the leftover roasted chicken with garlic. Yummy!!!

Yesterday was my lao gong's birthday.

Cooked up a feast for him for dinner... 1st attempt at all the dishes - Sambal kangkong, roast chicken & ba ku teh :)

The most difficult was having to chop away the chicken's head. I felt v scared when i touched its head. Luckily lilia was at my place and although she was also scared, she still managed to chop the head away.

Today was Sales Day!

A really superb event that me & my colleagues had put up together. Everyone was gp into either Green/Red/Blue and they had to wear tops of their team color. It was v nice to see everyone in their team colors; our efforts were nt wasted! :)

1st half of the day was presentations by the mktg to the sales team.

After lunch was a surprise b'day celebration for our GM. My boss hid herself in a big pallet box while me & Lilia pushed the trolley in. Just when my GM was abt to open the lid, my boss popped out herself which had gave my GM a fright.

Fun part was the teambldg activities which Lilia & I had researched on... Hmm, think we can jolly well start up an event coy =p

1st game ~ 'Tell a story' where participants have to each pick a pic card and describe the pic in 2 or 3 sentences. The next in line will have to describe his/her pic and link his/her story to the prev person's story. Sales pple are really sales pple. They can crap all sorts of stories... hehe

2nd game ~ 'Human knot' where particpants' hands are tangled together and they'll have to strategize to entangle themselves w/o letting go of the person they are holding on to. That was a great game where me & Lilia no need to prepare any props =p

3rd game ~ 'Blindfold' as the name tells u that everyone is blindfolded and they'll have to strategize to form into shapes as instructed by the facilitators.

4th game ~ 'Save the balloon' where participants need to pass the balloon to the next person using their legs.

5th game ~ 'Go green racing' where participants have to make a car from recycled materials. This car has to roll down a ramp. This was the most laughable game cos everyone was so excited to see their cars competing against the other gp. I'm also v impressed on hw they cld make such nice & really movable cars in half an hr. Kudos to them!

After all the games, we had our hi-tea and prize presentations. The committee in black tops had took a lot of stupid photos together... hehe (Shall post them here soon)...

Packed up all the stuffs and left office @ 8pm. Super shagged... sleepy but it was all worth it as my colleagues were telling us that they enjoyed themselves :) Sense of achievement...

Star Virgo Cruise to Nowhere ~ 27 Feb to 1 Mar 09

A relaxing trip for me & my lao gong even though there was nothing much to do onboard the ship. But still have to thk my lao gong for the arrangements :)

Basically, the activities that we did on Sat are:

- Gym
- Jacuzzi
- Playing on the newly built slide; think we played 4 to 5 times =p
- Lunch
- Golf; play until my slipper's strap came off... ball pickers are so tiring...
- Watch tv cum 'nuan'
- Jacuzzi... Yes, again!
- BBQ dinner by the pool
- Back to Jacuzzi again... opps
- Casino; haiz.. lose $$ sia....

When is my next trip??? keke...
