Wenjun & Kim's BIG DAY!

23.03.08 was the big day for Wenjun & Kim (i.e. my bro & sis-in law) as they embarked on their nxt stage of their life after knowing each other for 8 yrs. What a long r'ship and finally they tied the knot. Had the tea ceremony in the morning when i get to taste my 1st cup of tea ever since i gt married (btw i skip class lei... :p) So pai seh when both of them gt to call me 'da sao'. hehe...

Their dinner was held @ Merchant Court and seeing them walked down the aisle made me felt so touched.... This is the 1st wedding i had went to ever since i experienced it myself. Reali made me think back of the wonderful times when i'd my wedding.... (btw a secret: Wenjun's eyes were with tears when he walked down the aisle!!!). The ballrm was grand and i reali had a gd time celebrating this joyful occassion while my lao gong was busy the whole nite being the coordinator but we still had time to take some photos... (btw, they'd engaged a photograph to take instant photos where we can collect on the spot.. this was reali a gd idea to engage all the guests.... maybe those who's planning for their wedding can consider this).

Lao Gong's Birthday

Celebrated my lao gong's 31st b'day (opps..revealed his age :p) yesterday @ Shokudo restaurant @ Raffles City. It's the newest marche-concept Japanese restaurant in town. Food and deco was nt bad but there were reali a lot of pple (luckily we went in @ 6 plus or else we gt to queue for a long time). After dinner, we went hm to celebrate with the whole family... Older by 1 yr old le.. Hai.... hehe...

The jap character on the wall is reali pretty rt? /Having his fav waffle with ice-cream again...

Gifts he received: Adidas sports watch by moi!!! And a mont blanc wallet by his frenz (Hai... my present is nothing already...hehe)....

Major Decision

Was just searching from yahoo for sample resignation letters. And yes... I'M TENDERING MY RESIGNATION TML!!!... Finally... Since i already wanted to do so last yr but was contemplating since i'm still studying. Received the job offer today after gg thro 2 interviews and 1 test. The salary pkg was indeed much more attractive than what i'm currently receiving. I'll be starting my new job tentatively on 14 Apr. So excited to have a change of environment after being in my 1st perm job for 3 & a half yrs. But i'll definitely miz my colleagues who r so nice to me and tink i'm v pampered in my current job but for the sake of the exposure and career advancements, i'll have to move on...

Bird's Eye View

Me & my lao gong went for a ride on the SG Flyer on this leap yr jus before it was open to the public on 1 Mar. It was part of the '我报' event for couples that includes a talk, a dinner followed by the ride. I was so excited since before he reg for the event, i'd always told him that i want to take a ride on the SG Flyer. There were 8 couples per capsule; jus nice since we cld move ard easily. The 1st half of the ride was reali what i enjoyed bcos me & my lao gong were truely captured by the view of the night scene and when we r at the highest pt of the ride, it was reali wonderful. But passing the highest pt and gg downwards, it was nothing much since we'd already admired the wonderful night scene. We also took some stupid photos drg the ride... Enjoy...
