My Weekend

Had been bz over the wkend and hence no time to update my bloggy...

SAT...
Woke up v early on Sat to have dim sum @ Xin Fu Yum Cha with dear's family (courtesy of Jingfu's treat). Since we were in town, we decided to chk out our US tour pkg.

1st stop was to Dynasty as they were having their anniversary sale. The pkg was sort of similar to the rest of the TAs and hence there were nothing much to compare on other than the price. The price including tax was ard $3700; a bit way off our expectations.

2nd stop was to SA Tours since i had received a lot of comments that SA is gd. I qte like their 13D10N F&E pkg and for that price (@ ard $3000/pax), i think it's reasonable. The only difference is it's more flexible since it's sort of F&E.

3rd stop was to ASA. Hmm, the staff was a bit 'lor sor' as he was talking abt the history of the Grand Canyon and how many times he had went to US. But anyway he had given some info which i think will be useful for our trip. Price wise was a bit ex too.

By then, we were v shagged with all the 'negotiations'. My lao gong said that it seems like we are doing sourcing and comparing every yr (last yr was hotel for our wedding, prev yr was bridal pkg). He then said nxt yr will be the hospital to give birth at... keke...

Too bad Ah Wang & Jace can't go on the trip with us. Anyway, we decided to book thro SA and depart on 1 Nov...

Went hm after that n went out again for dinner with Joan, our neighbour. We went to Siam Kitchen for dinner where initially my lao gong n Joan wanted to have the buffet dinner. I told them i was qte full and so i'll jus have a tom yam soup plus 'ka po' some of the food they've. But as we are only paying the price for 2 buffets and we were seaten near the cashier, the staff might keep on monitoring me if i also ate the buffet food. Hence, my lao gong told the staff to add in 1 more person. He also mentioned that i was nt feeling well and won't eat alot (that was a bluff thou).

In the end, i ate qte a lot and suprisingly, we only nd to pay for 2 persons for the buffet. That was nice of them....

At night, i stayed up till 3am to watch the now showing on SCV - 'Heart of Greed' but on DVD. I was v agitated when i was watching how the bad woman was behaving. Think i got rather too emotional till my lao gong was saying 'u better dun watch, later heart attack...' since i was so angry and cursing that woman throu'out... keke...

V sleepy by then and went to slp...

SUN:
Woke up at 9am cos got to help out my parents @ their new hse. They'll be moving nxt Sun to a 3-rm flat @ HG since i already moved out and no pt having an extra rm...

Nite program was to watch the last few episodes of the drama... Hmm... Finally completed....
